The Automobile Manufacturers` Employers` Association (AMEO) and the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) each issued statements on the collective agreement on Friday after negotiations stalled. The agreement is almost unanimous with the collective agreement signed yesterday between the affiliates of the Icelandic Confederation of Trade Unions and South Africa, which provides for the same wage changes.
